Karly King LCSW, LCADC

Founder / Executive Director

Hello Wellness Karly King

Hello! Reaching out for help can be difficult, but YOU did it. Thank you for considering me as your therapist. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) specializing in: couples/relationship challenges, grief and loss, trauma, depression, anxiety, stress, and self-esteem concerns.

I am also a Licensed Clinical Alcohol Drug Counselor (LCADC). I utilize a person-centered approach pulling from treatment modalities such as Solution Focused Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TFCBT). We are all individuals on this journey attempting to live our best life.

There are times our wellness, our foundation, everything we know, can come crashing down around us; leaving us feeling lost, as if we are floating around desperately attempting to touch the ground or feel some sort of our once “normal” existence. Let's work together to rebuild your wellness. We will identify new ways to build, new ways to cope, and new ways to view YOUR journey with YOUR feet firmly on the path towards YOUR best.

Nicole Giordano MSW, LCSW

Director of Clinical Services

Hello Wellness Nicole Giordano

Hi! Making the step you are making right now is HUGE and I'm grateful that you are considering me as your therapist. With the uncertainty that you may be feeling, my goal is to try and be as helpful as possible in getting your foot in the door.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) specializing in depression, anxiety, emotional dysregulation, grief and loss, interpersonal conflicts, and addiction. I've spent the last several years of my career working in mental health and co-occurring settings ranging from outpatient counseling to impatient substance abuse treatment. I believe that therapy is not a "one-size-fits-all," so I work from a person-centered approach and incorporate treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TFCBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy. It is also important to me to incorporate a narrative approach which encourages my clients to see that we are not defined by our struggles but rather people working through them.

There are many reasons that could have led you to this point. What I can tell you is that when you are treated with kindness and provided with a space that allows you to feel safe, your growth can go anywhere you allow it to go. Together we can learn new ways to cope, to heal, and to flourish. If you are ready to jump into this, I am here to walk alongside you in this journey.

Hello Wellness Dacole Mincey

“Healing takes courage, and we all have courage even if we have to dig a little to find it”. This is a passage that resonated with me from the moment I first read it. One of the most difficulty parts of this process is deciding to accept support. You are here now and that is courageous.

I am a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP). Some of my specialties are grief and loss, trauma, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and boundaries. Successful therapy requires a good therapeutic relationship. I aim to provide an empathetic, warm, and supportive environment and work collaboratively to identify and accomplish your goals. I am a strong believer that people know what they need and are capable with the right support. You are the driver in your life, and I am the passenger who gets to ride beside you making the ride as comfortable as possible and providing insight along the way. I used a strengths-based person-centered approach to treatment.

If provided the opportunity to support on your journey to wellness, you can expect an integrative approach that allows me to use the most effective methods that suits your individual needs. These methods include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Focused Therapy, and many mindful based approaches.

Ben Wilkins MA, BCBA

Behavioral Analyst

Hello Wellness Ben Wilkins

There are few things in life that bring more joy and stress than being a parent. As a father of 2 boys and my time being a classroom teacher, I understand the stress and anxiety that can arise when your child is having difficulty learning new skills or failing to be successful in their daily activities. I know the fear that can arise when your child is engaging in dangerous behaviors and you don’t know how to keep them safe. I work with parents/families/schools to develop behavior response plans designed to promote safe alternative behaviors while reducing disruptive behaviors.

I am a Board Certified Behavior Analyst specialized in the development and implementation of behavior intervention plans, Functional Communication Training and teaching social skills. With 12 years working as a Special Education Teacher and 6 years providing ABA Therapy for children with neurological and behavioral disabilities I have learned a variety of effective teaching strategies we can use to customize your child’s treatment plan.

My career path was set when I discovered the connection between learning and having fun. This belief has guided my work as a Teacher, Therapist, and Instructional Coach and it is what continues to drive me today. My work with children and families begins with developing positive relationships, built on Trust, Safety, and Care. We work together to develop a treatment plans based on the child’s strength/preferences and evidence based teaching strategies. When a teaching strategy is presented based on a child’s interests and abilities, learning can be an exciting experience. I have formal training and experience using:

  • Play-Based Interventions
  • Natural Environment Teaching (NET)
  • Functional Communication Training (FCT)
  • Discrete Trial Teaching (DDT)
  • Crisis Prevention Interventions (CPI)

My work in the Public School and Clinical setting has provided experience working with children between the ages 2-18. Regardless of age, race, gender or ability, I meet my clients where they are. I believe each individual does the best that they can, with the skills and knowledge they have acquired throughout their life time.

If challenging behavior has got you stressed out and you need help figuring out your next steps, please reach out. I will do my best to provide the support and guidance towards a brighter day.

Amy O'Connell LMT

Massage Therapist

Hello Wellness Amy O'Connell

Hey, I'm Amy, licensed massage therapist. I obtained my state license in massage and bodywork therapy during my second year of sobriety after graduating from the Barberio School of Massage Therapy in Linwood, NJ in 2020. I have worked in a number of settings and currently travel to a local drug and alcohol treatment center working with patients who are experiencing substance withdrawal. I specialize in Swedish massage and deep tissue therapy. I am CPR/AED certified and persist with continuing education in order to stay knowledgeable and relevant in my work. I utilize therapeutic massage as a way to soothe the nervous system and I work to help people manage their pain without compromising comfort or personal boundaries.

It gives me so much joy to work with others in recovery; from addiction, from mental illness, from trauma, from all types of pain. Massage therapy can help those experiencing discomfort to find relief, can help a person who is restless to relax, and can help someone who feels frightened and alone to feel connected, grounded, and safe.

If you are interested in exploring massage therapy as a way of holistic pain management, as a supplement to your work in talk therapy, or if you are simply looking for a way to relax, let's talk! I would love to work with you.
